SARAH GAVLAK
In 2005, Sarah Gavlak opened the first contemporary art gallery in Palm Beach, recognizing a lack of local gallery presence. Her eponymous gallery champions female and LGTBQ artists, staging highly conceptual and pioneering exhibitions, including early solo presentations by Wade Guyton, Simone Leigh, Marilyn Minter, and Betty Tompkins. Gavlak expanded her footprint in 2014, opening a new space in Hollywood. She recently took on representation for artists Candida Alvarez, Gisela Colon, Beverly Fishman, and Vanessa German.
